Choosing your exercise shoes!

Picking your shoes is extremely important, especially if you're trying to get healthy for the summer! Here are some common mistakes we make when picking the right shoes:

1.) Getting whatever is cheap - Anything that is good is never cheap and anything cheap is never good. Anythign with a flimsy insole or unfirm heel cup can lead to problems down the line.

2.) Wearing them too often - Some people use their workout shoes as their "all purpose shoes". Wearing them too often will wear them out and lead to pressure spots that cause calluses or heel pain.

3.) Wearing them too long - Shoes should have a 1-2 year shelf life. Although you may have "broken them in" the constant wear on the sole can make them ineffective at supporting your weight.
