What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Our very own Dr. Saleh is certified for Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy and will be working with East Orange General Hospital, in conjunction with Restorix Health in revitalizing and reopening our Hyperbaric Oxygen Wound Care Center.   Utilizing this cutting edge technology, we aim to lower the risks of amputations in our compromised diabetic patients.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy you might ask?  Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) is a medical treatment to help treat diabetic wounds. It is a treatment in which people are placed in a chamber of increased oxygen pressure and the patient breathes pure 100% oxygen.  This increased pressure and concentration of oxygen will increase the healing potential of your body by forcing oxygen into damaged tissues
